Introduction:

Our scouts got reports, that there is a fortress to the northwest, which boldly claims to have never been conquered! We have decided to prove them wrong! Supposedly the fortress name is Burg Hochosterwitz Kärnten... this weekend we'll see how sharp their defenses are or are their tongues the only ones that are sharp?

Review:

Our scouts have done their job magnificently. Our warriors and shieldmaidens managed to break through up to the 7th gate under the cover of darkness, where we set up camp, so that we could regain some of our strength that had been spent taking all the previous 6 guarded gates. At dawn we realized why this fortress was deemed impregnable! But!!! we didn't give up and by midday we tore down their last (14th) gate. The castle was ours! We were feeling rather mercyful and alowed the noble family of Khevenhüller to remain wardens of the castle (under our banner of course). We tied new bonds with other noblemen and tribes from this region, so we'll be back next year at the latest!
