Introduction:

300 hairy bears, we get no rest!!! This time we need to conquer the settlement of Sv. Ivan Zelina once and for all! No quarter will be given and none expected, for they have some fierce warriors in their order of Zelingrad knigthts, BUT we can expect support from our brothers of the Siklósi Sárkányos Lovagrend from Hungary. Of course the loot will be evenly split. If anyone is feeling brave, you can join us, everyone is welcome this Saturday!

By Odin! This time we were not favored by the gods. Loki played a number of his mischievous tricks on us. Even before we started our march, almost half of our warriors and shield maidens became ill with a mysterious illness and we had to leave them behind in good care. When we finally reached our destination we realized, that most of our camp is useless! Why you ask? It was Loki’s fault! In our war-fervor and hastiness Loki put a spell on us, making us think we had everything necessary... While setting up camp, the veil finally fell from our eyes. We made the best of what we had by holding steadfast to our (old) motto: MATER ARTIUM NECESSITAS! We used our ingenuity and saved the day with the help of our Hungarian & Croatian allies Viteški red Sv. Nikole.

Morning came swiftly, the weather god Freyr was in league with Loki this time and vexed us with searing heat. Us northerners are not used to fight in this kind of weather. With huge support from our Hungarian friends - the Dragon order of Siklos - Siklósi Sárkányos Lovagrend, we barely managed to pull it off. The valiant local Vitezovi Zelingradski / Knights of Zelingrad (with the support of their banner men) showed us their teeth and after messy battles and bloody duels we postponed the pillaging as the day gave way to night and all survivors were having a good time while camp fires burned and cool drinks ran plentiful.
