Introduction:

As our small clan grows larger, our settlement will slowly need new additions. So we decided to work with a nearby Slavic settlement in Kungota, where we will exchange some of our furs and handicrafts for building materials. However, at the last full moon Odin himself visited out jarl in a dream and revealed to him a vision of a silver chalice, which is supposed to be located in the main building of the Slavic settlement. Such a treasure could greatly contribute to the reputation of our clan or to the construction of a larger ceremonial hall. Thus, it appears that the visit to the fair will also be a reconnaissance mission to see if the silver can change hands. While we’ll be diligently trading and working with locals, we’ll see if it might not be worth taking some souvenirs with us. If fate favors us, and our neighbors are unworthy of holding steel and protecting silver, we may just take over their settlement.
