Introduction:

The Vikings are coming!
They come to a place not too far north from here. They come from near and far and even from beyond. They come from known and unknown lands, giant hordes of fearless warriors.
Yet they come in peace!
They come to a secret four day feast. They come to toast with so much mead, that would extinguish Surtr himself. They come to cheer to Odin the Allfather and the mighty Thor, to the cunning Loki and the all-seeing Heimdallr, to the handsome Baldr and the beautiful Freyja.
And Maistri Marpurgi will be, as always, the loudest in the midst of it all!

Review:

In a small northern village began a gathering of families and clans from near and far. Old friends were greeted heartily, newcomers stood awestruck by the splendour of the Ascomanni great hall.
From the torchlit ceremonies for the gods, through the decathlon, and all the way to the battle tournaments, every warrior and shield-maiden fought bravely for the reputation of their clans. Their victories were celebrated and sung of well into the night, and by the time the feasts were over, the wolves Hati and Skoll chased the chariots of Sol and Mani across the sky four times. Shields might have been shattered, but the bonds between our brothers and sisters are now as strong as Thor himself!
