Invitation:

The snow is coming! It will be here any moment now, but our Vikings can no longer wait for it, so we'll head out to meet it, again towards the northern lands. The year before last such a decision proved to be an excellent one, and maybe we'll once again be jumping in the snow, equipped with only shields and axes.

Review:

Our northern adventure was very successful, although we didn't find an abundance of snow. We waited for it the whole weekend, but the Frost Giants were hiding somewhere high in the mountains until the last minute.

Yet this didn't burden us, for the company was exquisite. Here and there we had some problems finding the right Peters and Petras, who were there in great numbers, almost as many as there were lively melodies of the band Furax, who kept us warm on our feet long into the cold night.

The very hospitable native tribe (Netzwerk Ritterzeit Steiermark & Slovenien) hosted us like royals, so the carved animals on top of our tents could stay in a warm place in Maribor. And in these cold months you should also not forget about your real animals!
